Welcome To Our Clinic

Praveen Balraj, MD, FACS, a peer-elected “top doc” in Phoenix, Arizona, is a vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Vascular Institute of Arizona.

Dr. Balraj takes a patient-centered approach to medicine. He provides respectful and responsive care that meets each patient’s needs and preferences.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Balraj served as the senior house officer at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, UK.

Dr. Balraj relocated to the United States, where he completed his general surgery residency at prestigious institutions in Philadelphia, including UPenn, Jefferson, and Drexel University. He went on to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He also served as assistant professor at Wayne State University.

When I met Dr Balraj, I had 95% blockage in my carotid artery. I really liked him right away! He said “I’ll see you in two weeks for your surgery”! I was very comfortable going and trusted him completely! In and out felling fine in less than 30 hrs! 10 months later I’m doing so much better! Oh yes, blockage GONE! 100% recommend seeing him! To Dr Balraj: I was a Vice President of a bank for many years. You have a very well oiled machine with you staff, very friendly and knowledgeable!
